Severe Thunderstorms Threaten the Carolinas

21:38:51Thunderstorms Could Threaten the Carolinas

The SPC has issued a slight risk for severe thunderstorms for the Carolinas Saturday.  We may see small hail and damaging winds along with flash flooding. Severe thunderstorm and tornado watches are currently in effect for Kentucky, northern middle Tennessee and Ohio Valley this evening.

We aren’t seeing a significant threat for the Carolinas tomorrow at this moment. The mountains may dissipate these storms,  however residents should still remain alert.  Things can change in the blink of an eye and we will keep you updated throughout the day on Saturday.   Stay safe and have a source for watches and warnings.
