Significant Winter Storm to Impact Northeast Tonight/Wednesday

We are looking yet again at another nor’easter for those from Boston to Philadelphia. The main issue this time won’t be the winds, but rather snow amounts. These have a far higher likelihood of exceeding a foot for many in the Interior Northeast.

The GFS is not as robust as the Canadian. The GFS may not be picking up on the banding that will likely occur with this storm.

The Canadian is more consistent with it’s totals. New York and the Philly suburbs could be the winners with this storm, if banding gets going soon enough and there is no dry slot.

The NAM, usually reliable in the short-range withing 84 hours shows more realistic amounts than previous runs.

One thing is for sure, the Northeast will receive yet another snow storm!
