Storm Totals for Jan 3-4 2018 Snow Event

Preliminary storm total snowfall for Jan 3-4 2018 Event

Storm began late on the 2nd and into the 3rd, with freezing precipitation across northern FL. The storm then began to wrap in colder air behind it, as snow broke out over SE GA, SC and eastern NC. Late on Wednesday into Thursday the storm system gained strength very quickly, and dumped more than a foot of snow in SE VA, the Delmarva, NJ and most of New England. Blowing snow and blizzard conditions were common across much of the heavier accumulations.
