Tropical Development Possible Next Weekend

Say it ain’t so, but there is another chance of a disturbance offshore late next weekend. Fortunately, we don’t think this one will come onshore, so there is a greater chance for a dry weekend. But this system is a week away, and we will have to keep an eye on it.

Both the Euro and the GFS had our area of low pressure on late Sunday into Monday next weekend, however the Euro seems to have lost the storm. The GFS is below for next Monday:

Again, this system seems to stay mainly offshore, however some of the rainbands could brush the Carolina coasts. It’s still too soon to tell any details or impacts at this point. This is just a post to say we will be watching this week!

And let’s go summer, some of us would like to (or need to) swim. Cheers.
