Weekend Snow Threat

This weekend we will be looking at a snow storm barreling through the Eastern US. The biggest question for this weekend still remains. Will this storm climb the East Coast or be suppression depression for the Northeast. Here are our thoughts on this weekend’s storm:

The GFS has consistently shown this storm climbing the East Coast, but the trend has been towards suppression depression.

We expect this trend to continue which will bring the threat of snow into the Southeast for the second time this season.

The Euro has been consistent in showing a storm that will slide south of the East Coast and bring snow to the Southeast. This consistency from the Euro gives us as forecaster greater confidence in a Southeast storm.

More details on this storm, including amounts and precipitation type, will be coming in the next couple of days so remember to follow along with us as we show you what to expect.
