Will it Storm or Remain a Heat Wave?!?

*** FOURTH OF JULY DISAPPOINTMENT ***

We may get a temporary break from this heat wave but the bad news might not stop there.  All your plans of grilling out and enjoying the fireworks may be a wash out.  The Weather Prediction Center (WPC) hints towards a slight risk of a wet Fourth of July across VA, NC, and  SC.  Especially in the Carolinas  and some of Virginia.

A system moving in may dampen plans on being outdoors.  Expect to see a few showers and possible thunderstorms that will continue throughout the weekend.  This rain won’t cool down the temperature and the humidity will remain high. Remember to check updates and stay in the loop to be prepared and help plan your day.  Have a safe and happy Fourth of July and here’s to praying for a dry one.
