Winter-like Cold Blast Set to Cause Carolina Teeth Chattering

After a wild night and day of wind and rain, the Carolinas are set to receive their coldest temperatures so far this season. Widespread lows in the 20s and 30s are likely for much of North and South Carolina. There is currently snow falling in the mountains tonight as the exiting storms system is getting wrapped up to our north and west.

Tuesday morning will see morning lows in the 30s, however Wednesday morning many will see lows in the 20s, and more eastern locations will see lows in the low 30s. Residents should consider hats, gloves, and scarves on Wednesday morning, especially in more inland locations. The frigid chill should not last long, however.

Thursday morning will see widespread lows in the 20s once again, but on Friday lows will be in the 30s and we very slightly warm up again this weekend.

Please share this post with friends and family to alert them to the coming cold snap!
